15% Graciano

10% Syrah

2018 was a cool and generous vintage here on the Central Coast. The growing season was long with a cool spring followed by pleasant summer weather. Starting around Labor Day the coastal marine layer moved off shore and we had lots of sunshine to ripen the crops evenly.

The grapes were picked with good acidity and moderate potential alcohol. This created well-balanced wines that are smooth and seamless.

This grapes were de-stemmed and fermented in open top fermenters and punched down by hand twice a day. The wine was aged in two and three-year old Hungarian puncheons for 2 years. The lots were blended together before bottling and were lightly fined with egg whites and bottled without filtration.
