2021 Albarino, Jack Ranch Vineyard
2021 was a very cool, long vintage. This Albariño was harvested on October 6 which is at least a few weeks later than normal.
The crop size was very small and high quality. The wine was barrel fermented in neutral barrels and aged on it’s lees until bottling in mid-April. Because of it’s very high acidity, the wine is a tight and closed and will evolve nicely over the next year or so.
This wine is exclusively a tasting room and wine club only wine. Only 24 cases were bottled.
