The 2019 Verdad Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep purple color and it exhibits flavors black raspberries and plums layered with currants with savory notes and a spicy, toasty finish.

This is the oldest Syrah section in Bien Nacido Vineyard which was originally planted to 1973 to Riesling then grafted over to Syrah (Estrella Clone) in 1986. This is 100% whole cluster fermented and aged in two-thirds new Ermitage barrels for 18 months. This wine is fined with organic egg whites and bottled unfiltered. At this time, the X-Block is the most restrained because of the large percentage of whole clusters in the fermentation. However, it will age and evolve beautifully over time.
