*94 'Editor's Choice' Wine Enthusiast

This is one of the more elegant versions of Bien Nacido Roussanne’s that I’ve made…it reminds me a lot of the 2007 wine, which at 17 years of age is still going strong!  Lovely aromas of honey, toasted almonds with hints of vanilla.  The flavors are fresh and crisp with a mouthwatering fruitiness.  Enjoy it over the next couple years, or better yet, put it away in the cellar for at least 10-15 years for maximum pleasure!

This medium bodied Albarino has floral aromas with hints of orange and lime blossoms. Bright flavors of white peaches, Myer lemon zest and Marcona almonds come together on the crisp, lively finish.

This fresh, crisp, aromatic white is a classic “porch pounder” and is great with light appetizers, mild cheeses or grilled fish tacos.

The wine is pale golden with aromas of hazelnuts, honeysuckle, and spice. It is round and supple on the palate with flavors of apricots, pink grapefruit and lime-curd are framed by subtle spicy notes.

This is classic Santa Maria Valley Chardonnay, with aromas of apples, pears, citrus and a nice dollop of toasty French oak.  The Maria Vista component, coming from a cooler climate gives the wine a nice bit of minerality as well.  The wine has great freshness and balance, and is bottled under Stelvin screw cap for easy access!

The ripe Viognier gives the wine its wonderful aromatics of apricot, lychee and honeysuckle.  The Chardonnay, picked on the lower side of ripeness gives the wine a refreshing acidity and balance.

This delicious wine makes for the best aperitif.  It’s also a great choice for Asian or Indian flavors, and things with a bit of spice.

Pinot Gris made in this style aligns closely with Chardonnay, but with a lighter, crisper stance. Perfect as an aperitif, or with lighter dishes and hard cheeses. It is slightly floral with hints of citrus and stone fruit. Bottles under Stelvin for easy access and enjoyment!
