2022 Lindquist Family Cinsault

This is another varietal that was grown at Routas. Cinsault is one of the “work horse” red varietals in the South of France, including the Southern Rhone. It sets a slightly larger crop than most, is a large bunch and large berry varietal, that is fairly resistant to rot…even in poor vintages, the Cinsault pretty much always comes through.

I made this wine in a light, fresh style, meant to be served chilled, just like a white or Rosé. This is the ideal Summertime red. Perfect for grilled Dodger Dogs, wagyu sliders, BLT’s etc.

The 2022 Cinsualt, at 12.2% alcohol and bottled under screw cap, is another delicious wine to keep in the fridge up through Thanksgiving!
